Return Policy

At Chammi, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you’re not happy with your items, we offer a simple and straightforward return and exchange process. Please read through our return policy below to ensure a smooth experience.

1. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be returned within 30 days of receiving your order.
  • The item must be in its original, unused condition, with all tags and packaging intact.
  • The item should not be worn, altered, or washed.
  • Items purchased with a discount or as part of a final sale (e.g., clearance or limited-time sales) are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

2. How to Return an Item

To initiate a return, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email our customer support team at info@chammi.lk or call (+94) 77 466 7808 with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
  2. Return Authorization: Once your return request is approved, we’ll provide you with a Return Authorization Number and the return address.
  3. Package Your Return: Securely pack the item(s) in the original packaging or a suitable alternative to prevent damage during return shipping.
  4. Ship the Item Back: Send the item(s) to the return address provided. Please note, customers are responsible for return shipping fees unless the item is defective or was sent in error.

3. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different size or color, please follow the same process as a return. Once we receive the returned item(s), we’ll process your exchange and ship the new item(s) to you. Exchanges are subject to availability.

4. Return Shipping Costs

  • Domestic Returns: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is damaged, defective, or an error was made in the order.
  • International Returns: For international orders, the customer is responsible for both return shipping costs and any customs duties or taxes.

5. Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will process your refund. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to appear on your account, depending on your payment provider’s processing times.

  • Original Shipping Charges: Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., incorrect or damaged item).

6. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the package. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund, including shipping costs. Please provide photos of the damaged item and packaging to assist us in resolving the issue quickly.

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable and cannot be refunded or exchanged:

  • Gift cards.
  • Personalized or custom items.
  • Final sale or clearance items.

8. Canceling an Order

If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled. However, you may still return the item(s) once received, following our standard return process.
